    We welcome suggestions, feedback and will listen to complaints and concerns about our services.

    Please express these in writing or use our suggestion box.  The forms are available in the practice. Alternatively feel free to talk to the Practice Manager at any time.

  • Making an Appointment

    Appointments are available between 9:00am – 5pm and can be made by phoning the clinic or coming in during these hours. Each appointment is for one (1) person only. If you require a longer consultation to discuss more than one issue or a procedure, please advise reception.


    If you have an emergency, please advise the reception to enable appropriate care or call: 000.


    Please cancel appointments at least 2hrs prior to the scheduled time, in order to enable the appointment time to be re-filled.

    Nursing services are available as coordinated by your doctor.

  • Billing

    This practice is a bulk billing practice. All consultations covered by Medicare are Bulk Billed.

    There will be a private fee for those consultations not covered by Medicare e.g. Work Cover,

    Pre-employment assessments, Driving Medical, Medical reports, private insurance etc. Some treatments/procedures also incur out of pocket expenses.

    Please check with the reception.

    We take payment via Eftpos, Mastercard and Visa. Please note surcharge applies.

  • Script and Referral Letters

    It is important to see your doctor for scripts and referrals.

    All referrals require an appointment.


    If you have previously seen a particular specialist for an ongoing problem and require a repeat referral, please advise our receptionist who will advise whether an appointment is required.

  • Patient Privacy and Personal Health Information

    Your medical record is a private and confidential document and only available to authorised members of staff.

    By signing the registration and medical record consent form, you are agreeing to the terms that guide the Privacy Act 2000.

    If you wish to access your information in electronic health record, please advise our authorised staff who will facilitate this for you. If you wish to transfer your records from your previous Clinic, please ask reception. Some Practices charge an administration fee for this.

    Telehealth


    Telehealth is the use of telecommunication technologies to deliver health-related services that support patient care and health education. Telehealth allows patients to seek care closer to home so they do not need to travel long distances to receive consultations. Telehealth can also reduce the waiting time for specialty care. We offer Telehealth services at Medispring Family Medical Centre.

    My Health Record is a secure online summary of your health information. Only you can control what goes into it and who is allowed to access it. You can choose to share your health information with your doctors, hospitals and other healthcare providers.

  • Reminder System & Visiting Specialist

    SMS Reminder


    Our practice is committed to preventive care and participates in National and State reminder systems.


    We offer a reminder system via SMS appropriate to your care. Please sign the consent form and make sure your mobile number is uptodate.


    If you do not wish to be part of this system, please advise our reception staff.
